Yes, but you need to contact BBVA USA at 1-844-BBVAUSA (228-2872), so they could put a travel flag on your account to prevent an interruption in your card access.
To prevent an interruption in ATM or Debit Card access you must call the telephone number on the back of your card to have an agent place a travel flag on your account.
To avoid the $3 paper statement fee, you can opt for free online statements. To do so, you need to turn off paper statements through Online Banking, by accessing the "Turn On or Off Paper Statements" link in the Online Banking Services box, from where you need to toggle the "Paper Statements" off, and save changes.
You can also turn off paper statements via the mobile app. Simply log in, tap the microphone at the top of the screen and say "Turn Paper Statements Off."
Remember to do so for each account if there are more accountholders.

You can view and print all transactions that you have made during your online session with Online Banking via the Web by using the "print" function of your browser. Check the Help section of your browser for instructions on printing. If you are using Quicken, use the Print button.

Yes. You can use it by itself online or access it with the current versions of Quicken® for Windows or Quicken® for Mac (The three most recent versions of Quicken® are supported.) In fact, you can use it both ways with the same Username and Password.
To help you avoid overdrafts, BBVA offers several Overdraft Management Solutions. If your checking account lacks sufficient funds, and you write a check or swipe your debit card, overdraft protection may allow you to make a transaction without having your debit card declined or check returned for non-sufficient funds. This doesn’t mean that you will avoid bank fees, but it could save you the hassle of a declined or returned payment.
If you should exceed your line of credit limit and you have "opted-in", we may choose to authorize and pay the item. If we do so, you will be charged an overdraft fee (NSF Charge — Paid Item fee of $38 ($32 in CA)) if we pay an item into overdraft for balances overdrawn by more than $1.00, and extended overdraft fees** also may apply. If you "opt-out" we will not pay the item into overdraft, and you will not be charged an overdraft fee — however, you will be charged a $38 ($32 in CA) NSF Charge — Returned Item fee if an item is returned, and your debit card transactions may be declined (rather than paid into overdraft).

Transfer requests must be sent prior to 8:00 p.m. Central Time, and are processed only on regular business days. You may only transfer funds to and from BBVA accounts that are linked under the same Username and have a funds transfer access level. If one of your accounts does not appear on the account list or you wish to add an account, go to the Service Center section and select Add Accounts to request an account be added. You will be able to use the account once the account has been added.
Remember, federal regulations limit the number of electronic transfers you may make to no more than 6 per monthly cycle from money market accounts and to no more than 3 per quarter from savings (not counting transactions made at ATMs) accounts.
Yes! With BBVA Online Banking, you can set up future-dated transfers to move funds between most of your online accounts.
You select the future business date the transfer should be made, the amount, and the accounts. Using the calendar to schedule a transfer ensures that you select a business day.
For mortgages and installment loans, you can specify if the transfer you are scheduling is your regular payment (Regular Payment) or if you want the transferred funds to be applied just to your principal (Principal Payment).
For any account, you can specify that you want the transfer scheduled as a one time transfer or on a recurring basis.
For one-time, future-dated transfers, you can schedule a transfer as far out as one year (365 days out).
When you need to schedule recurring transfers, you can select the frequency you desire (every week, every month, twice monthly, every twelve months) and set your transfers to continue indefinitely by checking the Continue Until Further Notice box. Or, you can indicate the number of transfers that should be made.

If you have any type of active, personal BBVA account or loan, you can start using Online Banking right away. Our easy-to-follow activation process gives you step-by-step instructions on how to get started. You’ll need the full account number or a debit card and 4-digit PIN.
If you activate using an account number, you’ll see the current and available balances for the account. If you activate using your debit card, you’ll see the current and available balances for all accounts tied to your card. You’ll start to see transactions (checks, cleared deposits, etc.) on the next business day. You can activate Online Bill Pay on checking accounts as soon as you’ve activated Online Banking and can start paying bills right away.
