Aspiration is a socially conscious financial firm founded in 2013, and based in Marina del Rey, California. Aspiration provides spending, saving, and investing services that allow people to bank, save, and make money while making our world a better place.

Aspiration donates 10% of every dollar they earn to charities helping Americans build a better life. Aspiration's customers can also make charitable donations themselves by selecting a cause listed on Aspiration's website.

When it comes to Aspiration's investment products, Aspiration's customers can choose to invest in the Redwood Fund, a sustainable investment fund that invests in stocks of environmentally responsible and socially conscious companies. No deposits are used to fund oil exploration or production, coal mining, firearm manufacturer or private prisons.

Additionally, there is the Aspiration Redwood IRA, a traditional individual retirement account, which lets you save for your future, save on your taxes, and save the planet by investing in sustainable and socially responsible businesses.

Aspiration's Spend & Save is an account that comes in 2 flavors:

which are both great solutions for your banking needs, but rewarding in so many ways. FDIC-insured, both of these plans feature cashback rewards, free access to over 55,000 Allpoint ATMs, a personal impact score, and an option to plant a tree with every roundup. While Spend & Save is free, you can choose to pay any monthly amount if you want. On the other hand, Spend & Save Plus costs $7 per month or $5.75 per month if you pay annually. The latter comes with a few additional benefits, including a debit card made from recycled plastic, 1 out-of-network ATM fee reimbursement, extra cashback, and up to 1% APY on your Save Account balance.
