Zions Bank Anytime Checking® Account

Meeting all your basic banking needs, with no monthly fees, and a low minimum opening deposit.

securely on the bank's website

Anytime Checking® Account is a free checking account with basic features, such as a debit or credit card, online and mobile banking, free online statements, customer service, and other features almost every checking account has.

What makes it stand out is the possibility to enroll in Zions Bank's OnBoard card program once you've opened the account. The program includes money management tools for smarter spending, successful budgeting, money sharing, account monitoring, activity tracking, and more. Plus, you can also earn rewards through Zions Amazing Deals when you shop using your Visa debit card.

Plus, the bank charges lower overdraft fees ($32 vs. the usual $36), and lower out-of-network ATM fees ($2 per transaction/withdrawal, while most banks charges more, especially for transactions). That said, given the fact Zions Bank's ATM network is quite restricted, counting around 200 ATMs, it is clear why the bank had to offer lower fees.

Nonetheless, if you don't need to use ATMs often, and are based somewhere in Utah, Idaho or Wyoming, then this checking account offer might be just as good for you as any other with larger ATM network access would be.
